Development Parents’ Bathroom Design: Sketch /HomeByMe

I started drawing this bathroom by choosing a creamy color palette. I wanted to keep it calm and relaxing. I added boho style with patterned tiles, woven baskets, and some greenery. I also used natural materials like wood and stone to make it feel grounded. 

Then, I designed the parents' bathroom using HomeByMe. 
I first focused on the layout. The room has three walls and an opening for the door. Due to the small size, I chose to include only essential fixtures. I planned to install a wall-mounted toilet to save floor space and a small, modern sink with a cabinet for storage. I decided to use light, creamy tiles on the walls to make the room feel bigger and brighter. 

Next, I selected the fixtures and accessories. I explored various options on HomeByMe, focusing on sinks, faucets, toilets, mirrors, and storage.



I chose the Callipyge Toilet from HomeByMe’s catalog. This toilet has a dual-flush system and a soft-close seat, which is both eco-friendly and convenient. 

The modern look of the toilet matched well with the creamy tiles and light wood flooring. Its compact size was perfect for the small bathroom, and the dual-flush system helps save water.







 For the vanity, I selected the allen + roth Helena 30-in Sandstorm Vanity with a Calacatta Marble Top from Lowe’s. The vanity has a transitional design with a sandstorm finish and a marble top, combining elegance and functionality. The soft-close drawers and gold hardware add a modern touch, while the ample storage keeps the bathroom organized. This vanity complements the tiles and flooring, enhancing the bathroom’s overall look. 



To add elegance, I chose the MY GIGA GOLD WALL SHELF from Pottery Barn. This shelf set has a gold finish and a geometric design that adds a modern touch. The shelves provide space for storage and decor, helping to reduce clutter. Adding small plants, candles, or decorative bottles to these shelves makes the bathroom more inviting. 




For the finishing touch, I selected the Geberit Sigma 01 Toilet Flush Plate. It has a dual-flush system, which saves water, and is made of durable plastic. The sleek design with two buttons fits well with the other bathroom fixtures.





After selecting each element, the final design of the parents' bathroom combines style and function. The room includes a freestanding, a shower stall with glass doors, and a vanity with a sleek sink and elegant mirror. The light wood flooring and creamy tiles create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The MY GIGA GOLD WALL SHELF adds storage and a modern look, perfectly matching the Callipyge Toilet and Geberit Flush Plate. Large windows bring in natural light, making the bathroom feel airy and spacious.

Wix Update

I recently updated my Wix site to better showcase my design work. First, I changed the background to feature one of my final room designs, highlighting the bohemian and traditional Moroccan styles I've been working on. I added a quote that reflects my design philosophy and placed my name in the center. Next, I experimented with the color scheme and chose a combination that complements the overall aesthetic of my portfolio. I also write a brief introduction to give visitors a quick overview of my work and design approach. In the contact section, I made updates to ensure it’s easy for potential clients to reach me.  To add a unique touch, I included one of my 3D mask designs, which brings an artistic element to the site. These changes make my portfolio more engaging and reflective of my style and skills
