Development living Hall/ HomeByMe

After making my mood board and initial drawings, I started designing a living room that combines Bohemian style with traditional Moroccan decor. I used HomeByMe to carefully choose each piece of furniture and decor for the room.

I picked the *EVEREST fixed corner sofa in mottled fabric* because its neutral color fits well with the vibrant patterns in Moroccan design. The sofa is large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. I also added the *1-seater fireside chair without armrest from the JEANNE modular sofa* collection. It gives the room a modern touch while keeping it cozy.

The *Polygon walnut library* is another important piece in the room. Its unique design adds a modern look while matching the wooden elements often seen in Moroccan interiors.

The centerpiece of the room is the 180 cm ALBI solid wood and rattan TV cabinet, which adds a natural, rustic touch. This piece perfectly complements the bohemian elements,  woven textiles and eclectic accessories,  also harmonizing with the Moroccan influences, like ornate lanterns and patterned rugs.

I choose a Sony 4K Ultra HD TV as the focal point for the entertainment area. This addition not only enhances the functionality of the living room but also adds a luxurious feel. Using HomeByMe, I can visualize how the TV integrates with the other elements.

To enhance the cozy and eclectic vibe of the living room, I’ve selected the Fenn Turkish SH Throw Pillow with Down-Alternative Insert. which adds a touch of traditional Moroccan flair. The intricate design of the pillow complements the bohemian elements, loke the woven textiles and rattan furniture, while also tying in with the rich, earthy color palette.

I’ve added two accent poufs: the SD MADISI DK BROWN ACCENT POUF and the SD ASHEN BEIGE ACCENT POUF. The dark brown and white diamond pattern of the first pouf adds a bold, bohemian touch, while the lighter beige and white pouf brings a softer, more neutral element to the space. These poufs not only provide additional seating but also enhance the room’s texture and visual interest.

I’ve included  a rectangular coffee table made of acacia wood and a red armchair upholstered in Swarovski fabric. The Table Basse Rectangulaire en Bois d’Acaciaadds a natural, rustic element to the space, perfectly complementing the bohemian and Moroccan styles with its warm wood tones and sturdy design. The CELINE armchair in vibrant red brings a bold pop of color.

I include the DAISY Floor Lamp with a golden metal reflector for a touch of luxury and the plush JANISSARY armchair in white for comfort and style. The space is decorated with colorful textiles, Moroccan lanterns, and low wooden tables, giving it a cozy and eclectic feel. This design is both beautiful and practical, perfect for modern millennial tastes.

Then I  include the Ludic Floor Lamp with its sleek green shade and base, adding a modern touch, and the Sputnik Chandelier with its starburst design for a mid-century modern feel. These lighting choices will complement the Bohemian and Moroccan decor, like plush floor cushions, a statement Moroccan rug.

I'm adding the NERVE short pile rug, which features an abstract design. This rug introduces a modern artistic flair while preserving the room's cozy and eclectic atmosphere. Its abstract pattern complements the intricate designs typical of Moroccan decor, achieving a seamless fusion of styles. Paired with the Ludic Floor Lamp and Sputnik Chandelier, this rug will bring the entire room together, making it both functional .
