Floor Plan

During my tutorial with my tutor Zoe about this project this term. She showed every step to make this project. Firstly I have to make a floor plan, so I tried to make this plan in a digital form in SmartDraw. But I did not like it. 






So I followed the method Zoe told me during my tutorial. The first step is drawing a bubble diagram. This Diagram helps me to create a design concept easily, and also I can identify a design early in the design process, I find it easy to understand the relationship between spaces.










During this period I have a tutorial with my tutor, he shows me an example of drawing a floor plan. Then I take the bubble diagram that I am drawing and I take another paper to trace using a drawing light pad. Then I drew a floor plan with windows and doors. 






Then I made a copy of the floor plan in a site with measures. 

  • Kitchen: 10-12m
  • Boy Room: 10-11m
  • Parents Room: 10-18m
  • Living Room: 22-28m
  • Common Toilet: 2-3m
  • Hallway approximately: 10m

    Isn't the floor plan drawing the same as the one you posted in the previous post? It would be better to see each element (bubble diagram/floor plan development) in separate posts rather than thrown into one post.

    It would be also better to show more of your process in planning the space - state why you have used the space in this way, for example.

    Rabab, we discussed this post in class and I gave you another list of what should be on your blog by the end of Week 4. We are going into Week 5 and there is still only 3 posts, with no research or much in the way of development of your project through notes and ideas (you need to post the development tasks from Week 1 & 2). I expect to see some action on here and updating your blog as soon as possible.

    Rabab I have just looked at your blog and you have just 3 posts for the whole term and it is now week five. You will need to ensure you update this blog urgently to have all the work from the last four weeks as per Sam's comments above. I will be seeing you next week for tutorial to discuss your work

Wix Update

I recently updated my Wix site to better showcase my design work. First, I changed the background to feature one of my final room designs, highlighting the bohemian and traditional Moroccan styles I've been working on. I added a quote that reflects my design philosophy and placed my name in the center. Next, I experimented with the color scheme and chose a combination that complements the overall aesthetic of my portfolio. I also write a brief introduction to give visitors a quick overview of my work and design approach. In the contact section, I made updates to ensure it’s easy for potential clients to reach me.  To add a unique touch, I included one of my 3D mask designs, which brings an artistic element to the site. These changes make my portfolio more engaging and reflective of my style and skills
